Fans Storm The Ring At SmackDown! Taping
In an incredibly stupid move, some WWE fans at the SmackDown! taping in London last night decided to storm the ring just before the main event started.
Most of the time, it’s usually just one fan who jumps the barrier and gets into the ring. But in this unique circumstance, 4 individuals, in lucha libre masks, hit the ring to start and impromptu tag team match, including a spot which involved The Rock Bottom move.
The match in question involved United States champion John Cena teaming with Intercontinental champion Daniel Bryan facing off against Tag Team Champions Cesaro and Tyson Kidd. It was originally thought that this could be the start of an angle, but looking at everybodys reactions in the ring, who all appeared shocked, it was clearly just drunk fans trying to be funny.
It took a few moments for security to put things under control.
(Editor’s Note: Remember when wrestlers would kick the crap out of anybody who entered the ring during a match? It’s a pity WWE has become so corporate in that respect as they fear negative press and law suits. As far as I’m concerned, once you jump that barrier then it’s fair game. Those idiots would think twice doing it again if the four guys in the ring beat the s**t out of them)
