Survivor Series 2017 Review (And Why It Fell Apart)

Survivor Series Review, NXT Call Ups, Paige Returns, Reduced WWE PPVs?

Sam and Andy discuss Survivor Series, Paige’s return, NXT talent moving up, Roman Reigns earning his Grand Slam, and the new PPV schedule for 2018… when news comes in, it comes in fast!

Survivor Series 2017 has come and gone, with Raw winning the most amount of matches, including the main event 5-on-5 Elimination match. Styles fell to Lesnar in a surprisingly long match, and Asuka was the sole-survivor of the women’s match. But what made it all fall apart?

NXT talent had a field day, with some surprising faces appearing on both Raw and SmackDown – alongside a returning Paige, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville made their debuts on Raw, while SmackDown saw the arrival of Ruby Rose, Sarah Logan, and Liv Morgan; Sam has to explain these new people to Andy. And, Hideo Itami is coming to 205 Live, presumably to feud with Enzo Amore for several months – could this be a good thing?

A change is coming to the WWE PPV schedule; 2018 is set to have 14 events, down to one per month – not only this, Money in the Bank is now a dual-branded event alongside the Big Four…

Roman Reigns defeated The Miz on Raw to become the new Intercontinental Champion, earning his Grand Slam in the process – Sam and Andy discuss where his title reign can go from here.
