According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, TNA talent have been told that they’ll respond to the cancellation rumors at the next television tapings. Said tapings are over a month away, scheduled for June 24-28.
TNA also has a pay-per-view scheduled for June 28,which is Slammiversary. The company has four full days of Impact Wrestling tapings leading into the show, apparently with some of the shows airing after the live pay-per-view. Last night Billy Corgan tweeted the he’d just finished two days worth of meetings for TNA and was excited for the future of the company. This was shortly before the rumors of TNA’s cancellation by Destination America had surfaced.
So far, neither Destination America nor parent network Discovery have made a statement on the status of Impact Wrestling on the cancellation reports.
