Segment Summaries:

Eden is the ring announcer, and Michael Cole has returned to commentary. John Cena opens Raw, with his open challenge for the United States Championship. Bad News Barrett answers, to a massive hometown pop. The match itself is said to have been very high quality. Rusev attacks him post match, and does the Russian flag spot. Lana announces their match at Extreme Rules will be a Russian Chain Match. Whatever the Hell that is.

The Divas Battle Royal is next. Rosa Mendes eliminated both Natalya and Summer Rae before Paige picked up the win. Crowd goes wild. Brie Bella and Nikki Bella were on commentary for the match. Whilst Paige is being interviewed backstage, Naomi attacks her, turning heel.

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on the titantron. The crowd sings “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”.

Booker T interviews Roman Reigns in the ring; Reigns is said to have received bigger boo’s than Cena did earlier in the night. The crowd were also chanting ‘We Want Cena’. Big Show appears on the titantron, and Reigns says he will retire him if he keeps pushing their rivalry. Show comes out and attacks Reigns on the ramp, accompanied by ‘Please Retire’ chants. Reigns got chokeslammed on top of the London Taxi Cab they always have on the stage to end the segment.

Randy Orton vs Cesaro ends in a DQ after Kidd interferes. Kane comes out and restarts the match as a Handicap match, and the stipulation that if Orton loses, he is no longer the Number One Contender. Orton wins, of course. There have been several mentions of cool spots within this match.

For fans of the British Independent scene, “The Bastard” Dave Mastiff was said to have been a rosebud. He is the leprechaun. In a backstage segment, Seth Rollins complains about having to face Dolph Ziggler, so Kane instead books him against… Kane. A shot of the mask in the case ends this segment.

Fandango is said to have reverted to his original theme music after losing to Stardust/Cody. The crowd went insane and it’s rumoured that Fandango became the most over man of the evening. Cut to a backstage segment between Daniel Bryan and Kane; the former Team Hell No.

Now comes the Rollins vs Kane match. If Seth had won, he would have been given the power to decide on the stipulation for his match at Extreme Rules. Sounds kinda familiar… The finish came when Kane chokeslammed Rollins, then laid down and pulled Rollins on top of him to get pinned. The stipulation announcement was then amde into the night’s Main Event. Orton also gets to choose a stipulation for the match, for some reason.

A backstage segment from the Prime Time Players occurs. During this, a fight broke out between a fan and a security guard, reportedly over a sign issue. The security guard was punched in the face, and Darren Young said something about rainbows.

Luke Harper loses the match against Ryback for basically trying to powerbomb him through the table. Dean Ambrose, of all people, makes the save and possibly builds towards the match at Extreme Rules he’ll have with Harper. I hate to say it, but that’s what’ll happen. The Neville/Ziggler match has rave reviews, also. Sheamus came out and beat down Ziggler after the match ended.

They plug an announcement regarding Tough Enough, to occur next week on Raw with none other than Triple H. No word yet as to what it could be.

The main event segment featured the stipulation decisions from Randy Orton and Seth Rollins for their Extreme Rules match; Orton makes it a Steel Cage match, and Rollins bans the RKO from being used. Orton attacks Rollins but he gets away, bringing an end to the tapings.
