On the latest edition of the Steve Austin Show, Austin discussed the recent rumours floating around the dirtysheets regarding the relationship with himself and WWE.
He stated that there isn’t any heat for him not appeared at Wrestlemania. There were no plans to have him there. Hence why he wasn’t on the alleged flight with the Undertaker because he wasn’t supposed to be there in the first place.
He isn’t doing Tough Enough this year as it would conflict with CMT show Broken Skull Challenge. Tough Enough was supposed to tape February / March but was pushed back. The timing wasn’t anyone’s fault, it also takes a lot of work to put together a show like Tough Enough.
He also stated that reports that Vince McMahon being unhappy with questions he asked on the WWE Network podcasts were false. There is not heat with himself and Vince. But for whatever reason a deal was not made as to doing more podcasts.
Austin and WWE are basically going two separate ways. He states that they could team again and do good business. “There’s no heat, nowhere. It’s cool, moving on.”
