The past week in wrestling has been madness; from Goldberg’s return to the WWE on Monday Night Raw to a big reception, to the engagement of the modern-day star-crossed lovers, Alberto Del Rio and Paige. Sam and Andy are here to give you all the details.
Former world heavyweight champion Bill Goldberg made his return this Monday, answering rival Brock Lesnar’s challenge to one last match. The crowd loved him, and so did Andy and Sam. But wait, Andy is usually a vocal opposer of part-timers in WWE… what’s changed his mind?
Mick Foley has been running his mouth on social media lately, again, this time regarding Hell in a Cell; more specifically, the status of the first-ever Women’s Hell in a Cell match between Charlotte, and current Raw Women’s Champion, Sasha Banks. The Raw GM says they’ll be the main event of the PPV… only to go back on his statement later. See what other problems Sam has with this match here.
Paige proposed to Alberto Del Rio last week, after the latter had a match in Puerto Rico. 5 months, 2 tattoos, 1 engagement… Kevin missed a bullet here, right? But Sam and Andy aren’t one to judge personal lives… except for now.
TNA’s demise continues on, with the permanently-dying company owing upwards of $3 million, to various companies for various reasons. Bankruptcy may lie on the horizon for the former #2 company in the US…
