Is Donald Trump Good for WWE?

Should WWE Acknowledge Donald Trump on Television?

The 2016 Presidential Elections have been and gone, ushering WWE Hall of Famer Donald Trump into the Oval Office. Political opinions aside, it’s safe to say that Trump has become of the most polarising personalities of the modern era… and he just so happens to have ties to WWE.

Hosting WrestleMania IV and V in the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, N.J., WWE have also featured the former host of The Apprentice on WWE television in 2007, building a storyline for WrestleMania 23 around the “Battle of the Billionaires”, namely Trump and Vince McMahon.

Capping it all off with an induction into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, WWE appeared to have remained quiet throughout Trump’s presidential campaign, for better or for worse. Liam and Andy take a look at why, and if WWE would benefit from relating themselves to the 45th President of the United States in this era.

In other news, Nikki Bella’s career is potentially winding down after WrestleMania, and Liam and Andy discuss the plans for WrestleMania and the future of the WWE…
