My WWE Live Event Experience

On Saturday 7/11/15, I went to my first live WWE Event. It was a long ride up there and even longer looking for a good parking spot, but I digress. Once I got there, I walked to the Bridgestone arena and was surprised to see a merchandise stand on the outside of the building. I instantly wanted to buy a Finn Balor shirt…….they didn’t have any of his merch though.

Good thing I wasn’t swayed though, I walked inside and there was ANOHTHER MERCHANDISE STAND. They didn’t have any there either, but I did get a Suplex City shirt. I did miss one match but it had Macho Mandow and Axelmania. I wasn’t disappointed, I was cool with that. Then it blacked out and Bray Wyatt cut a promo on the screen. After that, Jack Swagger and Fandango had a match, Fandango was freaking hilarious. He got out of the ring and told the entire arena to look at his body. No homo, but the guy was toned, gotta give him that.

Swagger won with a great hold on the Patriot Lock. Next was The Lucha Dragons vs The Ascension in which Kalisto was the high-flying show of the night. Lucha Dragons pick up the win. Next Sheamus came out and yes I screamed the “Faugh A Ballagh” cry with him…..don’t judge me dammit..He went one one on one with Randy Orton and Orton won with an RKO. I loved seeing an RKO in person. Then there was a Divas battle royal which was composed of Natalya, Emma, Summer Rae, Alicia Fox, Cameron and Layla.

Natalya may have won the match but my highlight was seeing Emma. I love me some Emma…………Wait, I’m writing here. Fuck. After seeing my favorite Aussie, Bray Wyatt came out. I’ve never marked out for Bray more in my life. It was fun being part of the fireflies. His opponent for the night was Roman Reigns, it was great to see my favorite even though some of y’all might not like him. In the closing moments, Wyatt was going for a Sister Abigail, and Roman REVERSES WITH A roll up?

Whatever, my boy Roman won it but quickly got attacked by an angry Wyatt who would proceed to hit Reigns with a Sister Abigail and exit. In the main event, Dean Ambrose faced Seth Rollins in a Street Fight for the WWE Championship. This was an entertaining match with Rollins discerning everything the fans were saying and Ambrose being, well Ambrose ha ha.

Rollins powerbombed Ambrose through a table then Ambrose elbowed Rollins through a table. Rollins got the win after Bray Wyatt came out to attack Ambrose and assist Rollins. Seth Rollins retained the belt for the win. Then the two proceeded to attack Ambrose until Roman Reigns comes out for the save as he and Ambrose close the show.

All around, WWE live is better for the experience. You have fun seeing the superstars put on a show and applaud them strictly because of that. At least, I did. By the way, if Emma’s reading this, know that you were the best part of my night you gorgeous woman. My god, It was a good show.
