WWE Interested in Two ROH Stars?

WWE has reportedly expressed interest in signing two Ring of Honor talents: Mandy Leon, and Quinn Ojinnaka, better known as “Moose”. Both talents have previously been involved with WWE in the past, in some capacity. Leon has appeared as a Rosebud in Adam Rose’s “Party Posse”. Ojinnaka was used sparingly in the past, but never signed an official deal with WWE at any point.

For those unaware of these talents, here’s an excerpt from Ring of Honor’s official website;

A young woman of Puerto Rican, Cuban, Italian and French descent, the Brooklyn, New York native is a graduate of the Ring of Honor Dojo. As an experienced model and actress, her transition into professional wrestling has been on that has shocked many! As a fan of professional wrestling her whole life, Mandy always dreamed of one day stepping into the a professional wrestling ring. On Friday April 18, 2014 she achieved that dream when she faced off with Jenny Rose. Leon showed the fans and locker room that she is destined for great things in Ring of Honor.

Recruited by Ring of Honor for his agility, power and size, Ojinnaka is an elite athlete. Demonstrating exceptional potential during his Ring of Honor Dojo tryout, he’s touted as a blue chip prospect – a label Ojinnaka is quite familiar with. Drafted in the 5th round by the Atlanta Falcons in 2006, Ojinnaka spent 4 years in Atlanta before moving on to play for the New England Patriots in 2010. That year, he was part of the best offensive line in the NFL. Ojinnaka would go on to play for the Indianapolis Colts and St. Louis Rams, utilizing his speed and power to become one of the fiercest offensive guards in the league.

In terms of their potential, both of these talents could go far within WWE. Ojinnaka in particular could potentially hit the main event scene, provided the WWE don’t drop the ball. At a time wherein most Ring of Honor talents are about to sign new contracts, or are starting to look elsewhere, WWE and TNA would be fools to pass up the opportunity to potentially gain new talents in the form of Ring of Honor alumnus. Both of these talents are scheduled for WWE tryouts, or have had a tryout in recent memory.
