In a shocking turn of events, according to the Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE Superstar Shane McMahon has been caught taking PEDs and HGH, leading to his first suspension under the WWE Wellness Policy. The suspension comes just days before the flagship event of the year, WrestleMania 32, wherein McMahon was scheduled to face The Undertaker, in a Hell in a Cell match. According to WWE, a replacement has been found for McMahon, although it is undetermined who would face The Undertaker in the main event of the PPV.

Shane McMahon returned to the company on February 22nd, confronting his father Vince, and sister Stephanie, announcing his intentions to resume his role within WWE. Vince, however, would announce that Shane would wrestle at WrestleMania 32, against The Undertaker, with the stipulation being that Shane had to win before taking control of Monday Night Raw. Further down the line, on the March 21st edition of Raw, Vince McMahon announced that The Undertaker would no longer be able to wrestle at WrestleMania, should he lose to Shane, leading to a brawl between Shane and Undertaker.

Shane is scheduled to return on Monday 2nd of May, for the WWE Payback PPV event.
