Impact Wrestling announced, via Twitter, that the company is returning to the road after a 3 month hiatus.
For the past few years, Impact (formerly TNA) had been in financial trouble and things got to a breaking point when their live events in small areas were drawing incredibly low audiences. Due to this, Impact returned to Universal Studios and seriously limited the amount of shows they did outside of their TV tapings.
However, with Anthem recently acquiring the company, it looks like they feel confident enough to put the product back on the road, starting August 5th at the Richmond County Hall Ball Park in Staten Island, NY
